
Great Beginnings Preschool Philosophy Statement
Great Beginnings Preschool provides an introduction to education by encouraging
children to learn through activities that are appropriate for their ages and individual
stages of development. We recognize the value of diversity and the uniqueness of
each child and view all children as individual learners with a variety of abilities and
skills.
We believe that learning takes place best in a stimulating environment where children
are able to establish a true sense of accomplishment and self-sufficiency through an
integrated curriculum including process-oriented activities and open play. Children are
also encouraged to build upon problem solving skills, as well as their creativity and
socialization skills with other children. By developing the whole child we not only
develop the children of today but the leaders of tomorrow.
Great Beginnings Preschool Mission Statement and Goals
The mission of Great Beginnings Preschool is to provide safe, affordable, high quality
child care for the children and families in our community. Our focus is to provide
stimulating early childhood care and education experience which promotes each child's
social/emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Our goal is to:

• Provide a prepared environment in which each child can reach their fullest potential
